2019 Short review of Honda Civic in India ||car comparison

After skipping a generation in india,Honda brings their one of the  most successful sedan of international market.
Can Honda civic give a tough competition with Elantra,Octavia and Corolla Altis?

I think not much more introduction is necessary ,only one generation of civic was sold in our Indian market,which is 8th generation Honda civic and had gained a huge strong fan following in India between 2006 - 2012. Skipping the 9th gen Honda has launched their 10th generation Honda civic with their own upmarket style.Although this becomes a SUV era but sedan like this can gain a  huge attention.

How is it from outside?

It  also follows the contemporary design language of Honda which are also implement on Honda city or Amaze but things looks particularly radical and sporty on Civic. Forward chrome grille flows upward LED healdlamps, wheel arches of front and rear and the rising beltline that meets up with curved ,coupe like roof at the back.17inch of alloy wheels really help the stability.Exaggerated curve ,dual tone and diamond cut looks very sporty.
Here is the new and beautifully​ designed tail section which has become a main attraction .Its look like a lifted back like Octavia,and the angular c shaped tail lamps which gives aggressive back .430 litre of boot space are given and the opening is wide enough .

How is it from inside?

Here I would like to show you a short review of cabin ,as we know that 2006 civic was a radical,even compared to sportscars of the time.but since then interiors of all cars moved away on the next level,new civic's interior looks like sporty .In this segment it is the sportiest interior along  with a premium , luxurious touch . Cabin really does feel sportier ,wide ,airy and low set dashboard​ with great view from inside.Driver seat has 8 way electrically operated control system.you will get three spoke wheel ahead of you and a three pod digital instrument cluster.well in this civic you will two tier central storage system with 12V and 1.5A USB port .Two cupholders are there with sliding arm rest on the top .You will get a 7 inch infotainment system with apple car paly and Android auto which is a basic system that are given almost every cars.Honda made rear a nice place to be with lots of leg and  knee room.The seats has soft cuishing ,so you may feel a good comfort level.we might think that due to low  roof line there will be  a issue of head room but you are wrong ,a six feet tall can easily seat without any issue and three people at rear seat can easily seat without squeeze.

What About engine capability ?

The civic will only be available at launch as a petrol automatic or a diesel manual.The 1.8litre SOHC petrol engine which can achieve 16.5 kmpl has produce 132 PS power with maximum torque 171NM.The diesel engine is similar of CR-V,1.6litre diesel engine with six speed gearbox can achieve 26.8kmpl.
