Short review of Tata Harrier

This time TATA comes up with their new SUV called TATA Harrier,In this SUV you will see a lots of changes in interior as well as exterior.Although Tata cannot make their a good reputation on small vehicle ,but seems like they trying a lot and back to back present us small vehicles .Without wasting your precious time I would like to give you a short review ,cars comparison and cars technology that are used on Tata Harrier.
So let's get started.
Before starting I would to like to say the Harrier comes up with four variants and on road price of Kolkata 16.23 lakh-18.89lakh ,all this variants are in diesel. Tata Harrier based on omega platform which is a derivative of land rover's D8 platform which is known for modification of Discovery sport.Tata Harrier design is H5X concept which is revealed in 2018 Auto expo.If we talk about cars comparison then there are lots of tough rivals are waiting which are already upmarketed and some of them are very successful SUV ,you can compare this SUV with Hyundai creta,Jeep Compass,New Nissan kicks and Mahindra XUV300 which is going to launch on 14th of February.
Side profile of Tata Harrier is right mix of Discovery sport and H5X concept,well proportioned .Side profile of Harrier Flamboyant and thanks to the swollen wheel arches and gently rising window line and that ends with blacked out D pillar.
The new Tata Harrier offering three point seatbelt with reminder for the from seats and also offering hill assist,hill descent control,roll over mitigation,brake assist and many more...
Talking about features ,This Tata has given us a lot features like push start button , multifunctional steering wheel,height adjustable driver's seat and a semi digital instrument console.On the dashboard you will get a 8.8-inch infotainment system with apple carplay and Android auto.This SUV featured with 9 speaker JBL audio system,auto climate control and a cooled glovebox.Rear ac vents are pointed at door side.

Exterior
As I earlier said ,Design of New Tata Harrier is based on H5X concept,Tata Harrier is an urban SUV has wide grille with DRL.White xenon projector headlamps are there just below the DRL.Last of all front profile of Tata Harrier looks bold and aggressive ,it can be a good reason to attract customers.Side profile of Tata Harrier is right mix of Discovery sport and H5X concept,well proportioned .Side profile of Harrier Flamboyant and thanks to the swollen wheel arches and gently rising window line and that ends with blacked out D pillar.
Interior
This time, we have to say that TATA has done a tremendous job on interior,seems like they had given a lots of effort on interior .Rich cabin has mate wooden finish dashboard which looks like a premium.Materials in this car are on another level for company like soft touch dash top and a rich looking slab and thick metallic door handles.Chocolate Brown leatherette seats are looks very attractive.Even the door grab are finished in perforated leather,look rich and feel solid to grasp. |

Safety and Features

Engine Capacity
Tata Harrier has only diesel engine option ,TATA says that this SUV has been tested for 2.2 million kilometres accross all type of weather and roads condition.Tata Harrier featured with 2.0litre kryotec diesel engine which is fiat sourced multijet engine also available on jeep compass.Tata Harrier has BS6 ready engine with 4 cylinder ,6 speed gearbox with displacement 1956cc which can produce 138bhp of power at 3750 rpm and 350nm of torque with 1750-2500 rpm.Thus motor comes with e-VGT(electric variable geometry turbo charger) and also comes up with advanced EGR and after treatment system.Comment down below ...TATA can compete or not..???
